Skid Mounted Facility

Northstar skid mounted facilities provide a lower cost alternative when security or weather are less of a concern. Multi-function skids (filter, direction switching, meter, SCADA, in-line heating and pressure/flow control) provide benefits of a combined facility concept. (click on any image for enlargements).

Skid Design Options

Any one, or all, of the functionality of the meter station design can feature skid-mounted facilities. Separate, independent skids for measurement, flow control, and overpressure protection can be accommodated. The meter station can be designed for bi-directional flow capability by means of a direction-switching valve skid. A filter/separator and condensate storage tank can be included to remove contaminants from the gas stream prior to custody transfer.
